Behavioral Consultation
Leveraging the science of behavior
I use rewards-based training methods to teach your pet (and you!) how to interact more effectively in your daily routines. As a behaviorist, I aim to get at "why" your dog engages in certain behaviors. More details can be found on my FAQ page.
Puppy Kickstart
Three 60-minute sessions covering the puppy basics from housebreaking to socialization. We will work to get you and your puppy on a routine that leads to success! This program is great to start even before your puppy comes home.
Typical behaviors: housebreaking, crate training, mouthing, chewing, jumping, socialization
Pricing
$855 + sales tax
What's included: 3 in-person sessions at your home, individualized behavior plans and handouts based on your needs, and weekly office hours for supplemental support between sessions. This program offers email support on the behaviors covered in the program for 2 months after the last in-person session.
Real Life Rover
Does your dog have any annoying habits that maybe were cute when they were little? Or do you have a minor behavioral concern that needs addressing like counter surfing? Or even want to brush up on some basic obedience and aren't sure where to start? Real Life Rover will help you reduce problematic behavior and replace it with behaviors that work for your lifestyle.
Typical behavior options: jumping, counter surfing, greeting of guests, 1-2 obedience commands

What's included: 3 in-person sessions (the first session includes a consultation) at your home, individualized behavior plans based on your needs, and weekly office hours for supplemental support between sessions. This program offers email support on the behaviors covered in the program for 2 months after the last in-person session.
Complicated Canine
After the initial consult, we will work together to address behavior concerns for reactivity/aggression, phobias, resource guarding, separation anxiety, and other serious problems. Sessions will include behavior management, building confidence (for you and your pet), and exercises aimed at teaching appropriate behavior. Programs are individualized based on the specific needs of the dog.
Pricing
$1350 + sales tax
What's included: 1 in-person initial consultation to assess and evaluate the behavior and 3 in-person sessions to implement the behavior plan. This program includes individualized behavior plans from the initial consultation based on your needs, weekly office hours for supplemental support between sessions, and email support for 2 months on the behavior targeted for intervention. Communication with your veterinarian may occur on a case-by-case basis.

Private-In-Home Single Session
Do you have a few very specific questions related to your puppy or general obedience and not sure if you are ready for a program? You can start here for a single consultation. Office hour support is not available with this option.
$365 per 60-minute session
Virtual Consultations
Live outside of the service area or prefer virtual sessions? Ask about virtual consultation options! Virtual sessions can also be a great way to do check-ins on completed programs. Hourly rates below:
$295 for an initial consultation
$265 per session (program pricing)
$240 for check-in sessions (post-program)
Check-In Sessions
Are you looking for some additional support on newly established behaviors? This option is only available for clients who have completed a full program outlined above.
